Private Civil Engineering Ripponden

Calder C.A.D. has embarked on a transformative civil engineering project in an area of Rippoden. This project focused on revitalizing the local infrastructure to enhance functionality and aesthetics.

This project began with the excavation and preparation of the site, followed by the reinforcement of concrete foundations and retaining walls by embedding steel rebar within the concrete structures providing additional strength and durability to the works. The retaining walls were further stabilised with geogrids and geotextiles, ensuring soil stability. To manage water pressure new drainage systems were installed to effectively manage stormwater, mitigating flood risks and reducing hydrostatic pressure. These measures collectively ensured the long-term stability of the complex, meeting both safety standards and client specifications.
